Cotton candy dripped from her lips. She felt the confection’s melting as she pushed the tinsel into her mouth. Sweet as syrup and light as a feather, her addiction to the taste would never subside. She craved his lies more than air to breathe, taking one more lick before she left. He was like the fairy floss, disappearing when done, only to leave her mouth coated in the sugary residue of his presence. Come and get it called the barker. He was back and looking for another addict to overdose with the sugar-covered fables he spun. Beware, it will cost you your sanity.
