100 words x 365 days.
Her heart died that Valentine’s day that he left the earth. His promise of forever cut short by the disease that stole him away. His commitment that they would grow old watching their grandchildren taken from them in a blink of an eye. Left behind to pick up the pieces of her heart, she knew the day the Lord took him home, there would never be another hug, kiss, or dream, but she promised to wait until her arms would once again meet his. For every love, there is a season. For theirs, she would wait for him till her last breath.

What an unpleasant way to wait – lying in a puddle.

Some tears can cause a flood that drowns your own personal world.
