Lost in her own mind, she blinked as the tears rolled down her cheeks. Alone again, her heart torn from her chest without warning. Screams from the walls as the wind blew through. She fought the demons that resided in her soul. Her skin printed with his memories, she held tight to the reel that played in her mind. Sprawled out on the old dusty floor, the house creaked as she felt the presence for last time. Eyes closed, she whispered she was letting go. It was time for the memory to rest. No grave needed. He died long ago.
